Kids Hope Christmas Store! Thank you to all of the students and adults that helped with the Hope Chistmas Store on Saturday, December 13. Kids HOPE hosted a store for parents and children of Kids HOPE to purchase Christmas gifts at discounted prices. It was a success as many people were able to purchase Christmas gifts that would have been difficult to buy otherwise.
Holland Rescue MIssion Thanksgiving Boxes! Thank you to all of the students who decorated boxes for the Holland Rescue Mission. These boxes will be filled with food and given to local families in need. Around 50 boxes were completed by middle school and high school students!
Help out on Sunday Mornings!!! We are always looking for youth to greet, usher, help with sound/powerpoint, welcome center, Children's Worship, and collect offering. If you are interested, please contact Leslie!
VBS 08 Thank you to all who volunteered for this year's VBS on July 7-10!
CSM Chicago Mission Trip From August 3-9, 20 kids and adults went on a mission trip to Chicago. We will stayed at North Park University in Albany Park, Chicago. During our week, we volunteered each morning at the Carol Robertson Head Start center working with preschoolers. In the afternoons, we did some kind of immersion into the city like a prayer walk, interviewed residents, and got familiar with some of the different cultures in the city. In the late afternoons, we helped prep soup kitchens or visited retirement homes. We even had a Luau party planned for one of them! Each evening, we will also had the opportunity to experience a different ethnic restaurant for dinner. People who went on the trip: Sammi and Josh Dozeman, Lori and Brenten Wehrmeyer, Jeff, Tyler, and Lauren Jansma, Nick VanKampen, Amanda Klomparens, Carly and Hope VanDyke, David Woodard,Anna Eriks, Matt Nienhuis, Leslie, Craig, Meg, Franny, Gabby Russell, and Aaron Clark.
