Update from the Minister of Creative Arts and Worship Search Team

The Search team is well into 2nd round interviews with 3 candidates. Our original goals were:

  • To make an offer by the end of December, and

  • Coordinate timing of final interviews with the hiring of our new pastor, if at all possible.

With Ross starting January 7, we extended the timeline for making an offer to the end of January. Please continue to be in prayer throughout this transition - for the candidates, search team, staff, and all involved in the various forms of arts. We are grateful for your flexibility, as there are so many details to attend to and learn throughout this transition. We are also eternally grateful for Jessica and Erin’s leadership and the extra hats volunteers and several staff members are wearing during this interim. All of your assistance, patience, feedback, and flexibility are essential to enabling the team to progress through the process, trusting in God to lead with unity and clarity.

Last, but not least, many of you have contributed to this hiring process via attendance at listening sessions, the on-line survey, stopping us in the hall, calls and e-mails – we can’t thank you enough for these as we know we are being entrusted to the work of this team on your behalf – seeking to find the best candidate to lead through the various expressions of worship.  Keep the feedback coming!

Thank you,
Linda Milanowski
